Recently rediscovered this from when I was like 4.

Apparently people consider this one of Van Halen's worst songs? Well it certainly has a lot of nostalgic value for me. Loved that song as a kid.

Holy shit driving down nostalgia lane here.

Hey, check this out. This guy, who does metal covers of video game music, did my wife's theme: https://youtu.be/TSWUOQFDSa8

Only complaint I have: he spelled the title wrong. It's actually "Interstice of the Dimention" (sic). Other than that, awesome (though I may be a bit biased, heh heh ^^;...)!

Although I suppose one could point out that the song's already metal so not much could be changed

Really easy typo to make though.

Still decent regardless. (Though my personal favorite track is the Gate of Illusion, specifically with the Wilhelm scream styled intro the first time you enter it.)

Yeah, I know that's an easy mistake to make (in fact, one could argue it was the original developers who made the mistake; Dimension is obviously spelled with an "s", after all)

And honestly, I don't think there's a single song in the game that I dislike. Though "Grand History" is severely overrated, like "Stickerbush Symphony" in DKC2 ("Overrated" does not mean "bad", though. It's a good track, but it's far from the only good listening in the game). "Giant's Rage" is as awesome as everyone says it is, though. Especially since the whirring instrument (whatever it is) really fits Sakit. Even "Curse of Ocean" (which I've said is probably my least favorite song) isn't bad.

They're actually an interesting band. It's an odd mix of genres but it works out surprisingly well.

Hatsune Miku covering the intro theme to Sailor Moon

Funny thing is I actually recognized the song despite the fact I hadn't watched the show in like 15+ years.

Doesn't help that it's kinda catchy. Only issue I have with that cover is that I think the drums are a bit overpowering compared to everything else. Violin+electric guitar (also piano and electric guitar) are some of my favorite sounds so the whole thing kinda appeals to me.

Hatsune Miku Append - The Full Course For Candy Addicts

That's probably Machigerita's best vocaloid track in my opinion. As it turns out it's also probably the creepiest as well seeing as Miku is singing about devouring her boyfriend in it.

Basically anything by Cursive right now, specifically songs from their album Happy Hollow. Probably one of my favorite albums of all time.

Sekihan - Corpse Attack!! which is a cover of this vocaloid song by Utsu-P. Despite having the same music and being done in a rather similar method it ends up sounding really different. Kinda interesting.

When I started writing this post, I was listening to something that Jolpe made approximately two weeks ago for some reason. At 2x speed, it sounds less like what it actually is and more like

DEERHATMARIO DEERHATBLOOPER!
DEERHATMARIO DEERHATBLOOPER!

I felt that I had to share this for some reason.

Andrew Hulshult - IDKFA - Knee Deep In The Dead Fu

Actually pretty interesting in my opinion. More often than not covers of the Doom soundtrack either make every track completely metal or something even more unrelated to the original track. While it's true that most of the Doom tracks are based on actual metal songs the songs themselves are often not metal. (I won't disagree that proper metal covers can be really good though.)

Flori de mar, flori de mar,
Albe, albe flori,
Ne-am inchis, ne-am inchis
Ochii pana-n zori!...
Doar voi stiti focul meu,
Tot ce mi-am dorit...
Insa azi, va veni
Omul meu iubit!

Si vom face o noapte alba,
Ne vom pierde iar prin livezi...
Si-ntre flori, sa imi juri
Dragoste pe veci,
Sa ma tii strans la piept
Si sa nu mai pleci!

Sa ne ninga flori de mar,
Cerul sa ne-acopere,
Sa ne cante frunza-n pom,
Noaptea sa ne apere
Ca-ntr-o nunta din povesti,
Stele sa imi prinzi in par,
Sa ma pierd in ochii tai,
Sa ne ninga flori de mar!...

Flori de mar, doar voi stiti
Tot ce mi-am dorit...
Insa azi va veni
Omul meu iubit!

Si vom face o noapte alba,

I think I probably listen to this too much. I just came in here to post it only to notice that this post was over a month ago. I tend to listen to it at least once every 2-3 days lately, occasionally a couple times in a given day. (Partly out of laziness and not wanting to spend the time to find another album to listen to since I'm listening to it on Youtube.)

Remember when Iso streamed TSRP2R? Well, I know I'm in the minority (for some reason...), but I like the music in the TSRPR games, so I went ahead and searched for my favorite songs. Here's one, basically the theme song for my favorite character :theart: (Spoilers: It's not actually Zycloboo :undecided: ): https://youtu.be/xlPehE-M9iE

Also, the HUD for the image happens to have my favorite number :tsurprise: .
