Probability

Postby Frozelar » October 26th, 2015, 3:28 am

This is probably going to crash and burn horribly and/or turn out to be really boring but let's give it a shot!!
So basically, my idea is kinda similar to "make a wish and have it corrupted" except that person 1 asks "what's the probability of @#&*YRH$( happening" and person 2 says "7/10" or "2%" or "-900%" or "about the same as getting run over by a flying microwave on wheels" or "I don't know, go ask your local alcohol provider" and then asks "what's the probability of UHR#$(&*Y happening" etc. etc.

What's the probability of all my computer parts arriving in perfect working condition without any issues?

I'd say 200%, 100% being real and 100% being a dream (just a rough approximation)

Where's the probability of that dream being a reality, though?
BONUS QUESTION: Elaborate on your answer. If you use three or more words with greater than 20 (twenty, 20.0) letters, you will get a :failfish:

100%. The dream is a real dream. The contents of the dream, of course, might or might not be real.

What's the probability that someone will try to post a probability-related problem from their math homework in this thread?

What's the probability that most of my questions will be things like "What's the probability that I'll think of something to ask the probability of?"?

Well, due to the Theory of Contextualization©, it depends on whether you make it happen or not. If so, then 99%, since every second there's a 1% chance of Earth's spin cycle failing, thus making Earth's Sun angle 0°, which would, as you can imagine, create a black hole since the Earth's state of matter would reach 0 Kelvin, also known as Absolut Zero. If you don't make it happen, then your fate would rely on me making it happen.

I believe the formula is something like f(grill) = ( .003 + H / :winwaker: ) ; which I believe is still a very low number given rao's low Hints and the constant value of the :winwaker: coefficient.

-Infinity%. Big businesses don't see anything wrong with what they do. It's a trait they (unfortunately) share with religious zealots: they both think of themselves as causes for good, even as they leave ruin in their wake. So, yeah :undecided:.

Either 100% or 0%, depending on whether you liked it or not. Since I'm answering after it happened, the post hoc probabilities can only be one of those.
